KiDS DR3 catalog table
For the multi-band source catalog released in KiDS-ESO-DR3 the table below provides information on each of the 440 included survey tile. Completeness is only given in r-band, since the catalog is based on source detection in r-band only.
The zero-point offsets from the survey photometric homogenization are also provided.
Quality information is provided in the final two columns:
- Image flag is used to indicate coadded frames that suffer from severe defects, for example reflected light; corresponds to a "C" grade in the data table
- Phot. flag is used to indicate tiles for which no full photometric homogenization was possible (e.g. isolated tiles)
- Phot. group indicates the group ID of the groups of contiguous tiles used during the photometric homogenization
- Anchor flag is used to indicate the tiles that were used as photometric anchors for the u- and r-band photometric homogenization
